Cape Town 10's entries now open
Stud Rugby, of course, were the official kit manufacturers at the 2009 Cape Town Tens, but have now been entrusted with the supplying of ALL the Beer League teams' jerseys. All jerseys will once again be designed by the teams themselves - thanks to Stud Rugby's superb online design tool - but sponsors Castle Lager and the CT Tens will have their logos on the jerseys for uniformity's sake. Of course, last year's Cape Town Tens had some outstanding playing strips on display; some loud, others not - the Noordhoek Vikings (pictured above) come to mind here! - the 2010 tournament is set to feature some great jerseys, too. In fact, the CT Tens brainstrust are very determined to keep those creative juices flowing, so much so that they will be running a competition for the most creative Beer League playing strip. Ron Rutland, the Cape Town Tens' Tournament Director, commented: "All the teams that used Stud Rugby last year were helluva impressed with the quality and the turn-around time of their kit ordered through Stud Rugby. "That, however, got us thinking... how could we make things easier for all the teams in the Beer League - at least? The solution was for all teams to go with Stud Rugby and we are looking forward to seeing all the teams in their Stud Rugby-manufactured kit - no doubt with some crazy designs once again!" Playing shirts aside, Stud Rugby can also provide teams with specially-designed team shorts and socks, as well as kit bags and off-field wear; including training shirts, golf shirts and caps. |
